Welcome to our website (hereinafter as: “Website”) available at www.doragoodman.com! On the Website we provide goods and services for enthusiasts of analogue photography like us. We established our business at Budapest, Hungary in 2019 to keep this phenomenon alive and share it with as many people around the globe as possible.
The aim of this general terms and conditions (hereinafter as: “GTC”) hereunder is to govern the relationship between

as the provider of the goods and services through the webshop operated on the Website and You as customer of the latter.
Please note that by purchasing goods and / or service through the Website you accept the terms of present GTC as binding, therefore we recommend You to read it carefully.
1. Goods and services
By using Dora Goodman’s webshop You can order order customized cameras as well as unique and handmade straps and other accessories made for basically any type of camera. All accessories and camera customizations have been both designed and produced in Budapest, Hungary. The products purchased through the Website are directly sold by Dora Goodman.
Dora Goodman is entitled to widen the scope of its goods and / or services or to suspend or fully terminate them. Dora Goodman is entitled to suspend or to refuse to sell goods or to provide services, if you intend to purchase or use such goods or services in contradiction with the provisions of this GTC, or if Dora Goodman is investigating a supposed misuse
2. Placing an order
It is not possible to place orders by fax, telephone, e-mail or mail, and orders received in this way will not be fulfilled by Dora Goodman.
Dora Goodman shall not be liable for late delivery if it was caused by incorrect and incomplete data provided by You.
To ensure that the shopping procedure is simple and secure, Dora Goodman uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.
Dora Goodman provides the name and description of the products along with the photo(s) on the Website. A slight difference may exist between the photo and the actual product itself. Dora Goodman is not liable for the differences between the photo of the product on the Website and the real appearance of the product. Such differences may be caused by the uniqueness of each element used during the production, as well as a certain lighting used for the product photos.
You may purchase one or multiple items within the same order and purchase procedure.
Please be aware that items placed in Your cart are not reserved and may be purchased by other customers.
Please make sure to provide accurate information such as shipping/billing name and address, as Dora Goodman can not take any responsibility for orders not arriving or arriving late due to incorrect or incomplete information provided by You.
2.1. Purchasing custom camera straps / accessories
If You have found the strap or accessory You want to have for Your camera You can choose the item and its quantity and put it in Your cart.
If You have chosen all products You wish to have, You can check the content of Your cart by clicking on the shopping bag icon located at the top right corner of Your screen. Once having chosen the “View Cart” option, it is possible to delete the product by clicking on the “Remove” button below the product or to correct the quantity of the product in Your cart, by providing the correct amount in the “Qty” field next to the product(s). Once having made any adjustments, the Website automatically updates Your cart.
You may choose Your preferred shipping method in Your cart, by deciding between Standard shipping and Expedited shipping. In certain individual cases You have an option to choose any specific international courier company (e.g. DHL, Fedex, UPS etc.).
Once having adjusted the delivery method, You can start the payment procedure by clicking on the “Check out with PayPal” button. You can pay Your order by using Your PayPal account, and will then be redirected to PayPal’s site.
Having chosen the preferred shipping address, you will have the chance to review Your order and update any incorrect information. You may then finalize Your order by clicking on the “Place order” button.
As soon as the process is finalized, You will be redirected to the Website with a summary of Your order, that You will also receive in the form of an order confirmation e-mail without delay, but not later than within forty eight (48) hours from the time of Your order. Such email contains Your order’s summary.
In the unlikely event that the above confirmation e-mail is not received by You, You are released from the obligation of purchase. Dora Goodman is not liable for late confirmation, if the confirmation delay is due to a false or incorrect email address provided by You, or if Your e-mail account is not able to accept messages because Your inbox is full. This confirmation email is not an acceptance of Your order, it is only a confirmation that Dora Goodman has received Your order.
Acceptance of Your order shall be completed when Dora Goodman sends a shipping notification e-mail to You to confirm that the items have been sent to You.
2.2. Purchasing custom cameras
There are two ways to purchase custom cameras from Dora Goodman:
- You purchase the design of the camera for 3D printing and have it made by a service provider chosen by You or by using Your own 3D printer; or
- You purchase the actual camera and let Dora Goodman to 3D print it for You .
2.2.1. Purchasing the actual product
If You choose to have the customized camera fully made and delivered by Dora Goodman, then the process of placing an order is the same as described in Section 2.1. above.
In this case You may decide which type of camera You wish to have and Dora Goodman 3D prints and delivers it for You with the shipping method You have chosen.
Please note that Dora Goodman does not assemble the cameras it only delivers the parts of it to be assembled by You. At the time of the purchase or when delivering the product for You as latest, Dora Goodman will provide the instructions and user manual in the form of YouTube videos. You will get the link of such YouTube videos which will guide You through the steps of assembling Your own camera.
2.2.2. Purchasing a licence to the 3D printing design of the product
If You choose to have the 3D printing design of the camera the differences from the provisions of Section 2.1. and 2.2.1. is that You may not choose a shipping method and no shipping costs will be charged but the designs for the 3D printing of the camera may be downloaded by You free of charge.
After downloading a 3D printing design it is Your task to have it made either by using Your own 3D printer or have it made by a third party providing 3D printing services. Please note that Dora Goodman cannot take responsibility for the customization done by You or any other third party.
Please note that You may only use the designs downloaded from Dora Goodman’s Website only for Your own purposes and You may not use it and shall not be made commercially available by You or any other third party. Shall Dora Goodman notice that You breached this obligation Dora Goodman will seek for a compensation including damages, legal fees and all related costs emerging because of Your breach of this GTC.
By downloading the design You will have the right to use it or make any modifications thereto. Please note that should You modify the design downloaded from Dora Goodman’s Website then You are obliged to upload the modified design to the Website. By uploading the modified design You accept that Dora Goodman may commercially utilize it in a way described in Section 2.2.1. above. However Dora Goodman does not want You to let this for free. Shall Dora Goodman sell a camera 3D printed by using Your customized designs Dora Goodman will pay commission for You under the terms of a separate agreement concluded by and between you and Dora Goodman. Please note that the latter shall be applied only if the customer chooses the option to let Dora Goodman to 3D print and deliver the camera.
No matter which product or service You purchase, when any defect occurs on our Website in relation to products and prices, Dora Goodman reserves the right for correction. In this case Dora Goodman informs You about the new data without delay. You may then confirm Your order once again or is entitled to withdraw from the contract.
Dora Goodman may limit or cancel quantities purchased per person. In the event that an order should be changed or cancelled, Dora Goodman may attempt to notify you by contacting the email address provided at the time the order was made. Dora Goodman reserves the right to restrict multiple quantities of an item being shipped to a customer or postal address.
Dora Goodman reserves the right to reject any order which has been already confirmed. In such case Dora Goodman will inform You without delay, and shall refund the whole amount paid by You without delay, but not later than thirty (30) days.
3. Purchase information
The default currency indicated on the Website is US dollar.
Purchase prices are displayed in US dollar. Prices are net prices. EU orders will receive an additional 27% value added tax (VAT) on top of the listed price in accordance with Hungarian tax rules. Prices do not include shipping fees. Shipping fees are displayed separately also in US dollar. Free shipping is offered when customers buys over a certain amount.No extra packing costs will be charged.
In case Dora Goodman introduces special sale prices, a detailed information will be provided for our customers in relation thereto.
If clearly incorrect purchase prices are indicated on the Website, e.g. an incorrectly low purchase price is indicated caused by an eventual system malfunction, Dora Goodman shall not accept the order and shall not deliver the product at such incorrect purchase price. In such case Dora Goodman will offer to deliver the product to You at the correct purchase price, however You are entitled to withdraw your order regarding such product. The order confirmed by Dora Goodman at an incorrect purchase price shall be deemed as a null and void.
Dora Goodman accepts PayPal payments, and any other methods which may be clearly indicated on the Website from time to time.
If Your payment / transaction has been refused by PayPal, Dora Goodman shall not be liable for any delay and non-delivery.
The total amount to be paid includes all costs on the basis of Your order and the confirmation email.
Please be aware that your country may charge you import tax and any other state duties, and Dora Goodman has no control over this. All such taxes and duties should be paid by the customer.
The invoice shall be sent to You in the package.
If You return a product and the return is approved, then the refund will be processed in the same way as the original method of payment within fourteen (14) days from the reception of the returned item. Dora Goodman shall refund the original price that You have paid. In case of sale items, Dora Goodman is not able to refund the original price of the item, solely the sale price of it.
In the unlikely event that you have not received an email within the time period referred to above, please contact Dora Goodman via email at we will make sure to get back to you as soon as possible.
4. Shipping and returns
Dora Goodman offers worldwide delivery through various courier services. By default, the purchased products are shipped through the Hungarian Post and EMS.
In certain individual cases You have an option to choose any specific international courier company (e.g. DHL, Fedex, UPS etc.). Should you wish to choose such an option, please get in touch via email prior to finalizing Your order.
When placing an order You shall pay the appropriate fee in accordance with Your choice of courier.
If You want a product to be replaced or returning products to Dora Goodman, You shall pay for such shipping fees and You may choose any delivery company You wish.
Delivery times are indicated from the day the order has been dispatched. A notice about a successful dispatch (along a tracking number) will be sent out via email to the email address provided when placing an order. Dora Goodman aims to fulfil your order in the time scale indicated, however can not take responsibility if the delivery time is longer than indicated.
Please note that orders are not dispatched on Saturday, Sunday, and bank holidays of Hungary.
To return an item, please follow the steps below:
Make sure the product is in unused condition, in its original packaging with all items and accessories part of the package. Also, please make sure that the original bill is part of the package You would like to return, as refunds can only be made in such case.
Contact Dora Goodman via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) prior to returning / shipping the package.
Once Dora Goodman has confirmed Your wish to return Your order, please pack the items properly, putting as much effort into carefully packaging them as possible.
Ship the package to the address discussed, provided.

You can return any item for replacement within fourteen (14) days of receiving Your original order, without reasoning. Any item returned exceeding the fourteen (14) day return deadline is not eligible for replacement.
The provisions set forth above for returns - with appropriate modifications – shall apply also for the replacement.
If you wish to do a direct exchange for the same product in another colour, please contact Dora Goodman at and follow the steps provided in point 2.1.1 referring to returning purchased items.
If you wish to have a different item, or the requested item has a different price than the price you have paid for the original item, then you will need to return the unwanted original item for a refund, and place a new order.
If the item you want to exchange is out of stock in the colour you have opted for, then a refund will be taken place instead.
Depending on your place of residence, the time of shipping the new exchanged product may vary.
5. Right of withdrawal
You may announce Your withdrawal within fourteen (14) days from receiving Your original order without reasoning. You may announce such right in an expressed statement sent to Dora Goodman via email (email@example.com) within the above fourteen (14) day deadline. Please also indicate the tracking number of Your original order.
If You exercise Your right of withdrawal You shall also send back the item You purchased without delay, but within fourteen (14) days from the announcement of Your expressed statement on withdrawal as latest.
The deadlines above shall be regarded as being complied with if You send Your statement before the fourteen (14) days expired. As Dora Goodman received the returned item, a quality control procedure shall take place in order to determine the appropriateness of the returned item. In this case the provisions of Shipping & Return Policy shall apply.
Shipping costs are non-refundable, therefore You shall bear such costs. It is recommended to obtain a proof of postage and use a trackable shipping service or purchase shipping insurance.
Dora Goodman shall refund the full price of the undamaged item as it is received, and the refund shall be made in the same way as the original method of Your payment.
You shall receive a written notification via email that the returned item has been received. Any item returned exceeding the fourteen (14) day deadline will not be eligible for a refund.
You are not entitled to exercise the right of withdrawal when the item was prepared especially upon Your own instructions (ie. marked by a custom embossing, or made in a colour not part of the basic collection.) Any item unambiguously personalized by You, showing signs of wear and tear are not entitled for a refund.
The above right shall not be exercised for purchases made on behalf of, or in the name of a company.
6. Liability for products and services (Warranty and product guarantee)
You can find general information on the rules regarding exercising Your right in respect of warranty and product guarantee.
When can You exercise Your right for warranty?
You may enforce a warranty claim against Dora Goodman in the event of defective performance under the terms of the Hungarian Civil Code.
What rights do You have under Your warranty claim?
You have the following warranty claims depending from Your choice:
You may request repair or replacement, unless fulfillment of the claim You have selected is impossible or would result in disproportionate additional costs for Dora Goodman to meet Your claim. If You did not request or it was impossible to request repair or replacement, You may request a pro-rata reduction of the fee You have paid, or you may repair the defect at Dora Goodman’s expense, or You may terminate the contract.
You may switch from one of Your selected claim to another, but You will bear the cost of the switch unless it was caused by the conduct of Dora Goodman.
What is the deadline for Your warranty claim?
You are required to notify Dora Goodman about the defect immediately, but no later than two months after the discovery of the defect. However, please note that you will no longer be able to enforce Your warranty claim beyond the two-year limitation period from the performance of Dora Goodman.
Against whom You can enforce your warranty claim?
You may enforce your warranty claim against Dora Goodman.
What are the other conditions to enforce Your warranty claims?
Within six months from the date of delivery, there is no other condition for enforcing Your warranty claim unless You certify that the product or service was provided by Dora Goodman. However, after the six months have passed from the date of performance, it is Your responsibility to prove that the defect You discovered was present at the time of performance.
When can You exercise Your right for product guarantee?
In the event of a defect in a movable (product), You may, at Your own discretion, exercise Your right for warranty or product guarantee.
What are Your rights under Your product guarantee claim?
As a product warranty claim, You may only request the repair or replacement of the defective product.
When is a product considered defective?
A product is defective if it does not meet the quality requirements applicable at the time of distribution or if it does not have the characteristics given by the manufacturer.
What is the deadline for enforcing Your product guarantee claim?
You may exercise Your rights related to product warranty within two years from the product being marketed by the manufacturer. Upon expiry of that period, You lose this entitlement.
Against whom and under what other conditions can You claim Your product warranty claim?
You can claim Your product warranty only against the manufacturer or distributor of the product. You must prove the defect of the product if You claim a product guarantee.
In what cases is the manufacturer (distributor) exempt from product liability?
The manufacturer (distributor) shall only be exempt from liability for product guarantee if it can prove that:
a) the product was not manufactured or marketed in the course of its business activity, or
b) the defect was not recognizable at the time of marketing, according to the state of scientific or technical knowledge, or
c) the defect of the product results from the application of a law or a statutory regulation.
The manufacturer (distributor) must justify one reason for exemption.
Please note that due to the same defect, You cannot enforce a warranty and product guarantee claim simultaneously.
Please not that if You only purchased a design from Dora Goodman, the above rights may not be exercised because we cannot take responsibility for actions of any third parties that we do not control or have no impact on.
7. Handling of complaints
Dora Goodman shall seek to achieve a friendly settlement of any complaint You may have through negotiation or any other peaceful means.
7.1. Solving complaints directly with us
Your complaint may be announced in a written form sent to Dora Goodman’s postal address. Dora Goodman shall inspect and answer the written complaint in writing no later than thirty (30) days from the receipt. In case your complaint can not be accepted, you shall receive a reasoning thereof.

7.4. Solving complaints through the online dispute resolution platform of the European Union
The Commission of the European Union created a website where the consumers may register and through which they can initiate the settlement of their disputes related to online purchases avoiding litigation by filling a form.
If You are willing to make a complaint regarding a product or a service purchased online and You do not want to start litigation process You may use the online dispute resolution platform.
On the portal, You and the trader against whom you have a complaint (in this case Dora Goodman) can jointly select the dispute resolution body they wish to entrust with handling their complaint.

8. Intellectual property rights
Any invention, discovery, development, design, idea, creation, software, technology, procedure, process, technical material, documentation (hereinafter as: “Intellectual Property”) relating to the products and services of Dora Goodman in any manner are subject to copyright protection, and all or parts of them are the exclusive property of Dora Goodman. You do not acquire any ownership of intellectual property when purchasing any Dora Goodman product or using the offered services, including but not limited to the Website and webshop. By purchasing any products or using services provided by Dora Goodman, you are not entitled to use any trademark, brand name or logo in relation to such products or services.
Contrary to the above when You purchase designs for customized camaras and You manage 3D printing Yourself, Dora Goodman provides You a limited right of use to these designs. You may modify and further customize the designs made available for You. Please note the right of use is granted to use the design for Your own purposes and shall not be used for commercial activity. If Dora Goodman becomes aware of the breach of the latter it will make every effort to raise a claim against You for the violation of its rights and will seek for financial compensation for possible loss and damages.
By accepting present GTC You also accept that if You modify or further customize the designs made available for You by Dora Goodman then You shall make the customized design available for Dora Goodman and grant the widest possible right of use for us which includes its commercial utilization.
Dora Goodman reserves the right to every content on the products and services, including but not limited to the Website and webshop. It is prohibited to download, to store electronically, to process or to transfer the content on the Website or the webshop in whole or in part without the prior written consent of Dora Goodman.
10. Technical information
The Website is run in the working environment provided by Wix.com, and also the webshop is based on the webshop engine provided by the same.

11. Miscellaneous provisions
The GTC is effective from 01.01.2020. and shall be effective until withdrawal. If the scope of activities or the sold goods / provided service or the legal requirements applicable to us are changing, Dora Goodman reserves the right to upgrade, modify or replace any part of this GTC accordingly at its sole discretion by posting updates and changes to the Website. It is Your responsibility to check the Website periodically for changes. In case You do not agree with any changes to the GTC, You must immediately stop using the Website. Should You continue to use the Website, You are deemed to accept the modified GTC. Any changes made after You have placed an order will not affect such order unless we are required to make such change by law.
The governing law of this GTC is the applicable laws of Hungary.
The language of this GTC and the contractual relationship between You and Dora Goodman is the English language. Each customer order establishes an individual contractual relation between You and Dora Goodman.
Dora Goodman has not accepted any code of conduct which shall govern its business activity.
This GTC shall not be recorded, it is entered into by the parties only in an electronical form, and shall not be considered as a written contract. The contracts concluded in such way are not filed, therefore they are not accessible for inspection later.
If Dora Goodman does not exercise any of its right given under this GTC or other policies or legal provisions, such non-exercise shall not be deemed as a waiver of such right.
Any waiver shall be made in writing. When Dora Goodman not insists strictly on a significant provision of this GTC this shall not imply that Dora Goodman renounces its insistence on the strict compliance of such provision.
Dora Goodman does not make any particular promises in connection with the goods and services, besides the expressed terms and conditions in this GTC. Dora Goodman does not undertake any responsibility for the goods’ and services’ content, functioning, reliability, availability and ability to meet your needs. Dora Goodman provides the services on the basis of the principle “as is”.
Dora Goodman excludes all forms of warranty to the extent permitted by law. The maximum amount Dora Goodman pays for commitments relating to claims that are based on warranties including implied warranties under this GTC is the amount You have paid for the services. Dora Goodman is not responsible in any case for reasonably unforeseeable losses and damages.
If any provision of this GTC becomes invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the other provisions of this GTC shall remain effective.
